Book Donations

At Vastela Books, we believe every book deserves the chance to find a new reader. Donations help us keep books circulating within our community and allow us to continue operating.

Donate Books In Store

You're welcome to bring your books directly to the bookstore during our regular opening hours. We accept books in all genres and categories, provided they are in English.

While we are unfortunately unable to purchase books, we are happy to offer a store discount as a thank-you for your donation.

Book Pick-Up Service

If you have a larger collection and are unable to bring it to the store, we also offer a book pick-up service in Kanton Zürich (and surrounding area).

We organise pick-ups every 2–3 months and can arrange a suitable time to visit your home and collect the books. To help us transport everything efficiently, we ask that all books be packed in boxes and ready for collection before the scheduled pick-up.

To request a pick-up, simply complete our Book Donation Pick-Up Form and we'll be in touch when the next collection round is being organised.
